Weston's premier painters
Southwest Ranches is a rural town of large lots, horse properties and plant nurseries, and a paint job here rarely stops at the house. We paint and stain homes, guest houses, barns, gates and fences across the town, about 13.2 miles west of our Fort Lauderdale base, and the free estimate covers every structure you want included.
The town incorporated in 2000, but many of its homes are older and custom-built, so no two jobs look alike. Block-and-stucco ranch houses, two-story estate homes and frame additions can sit on the same road. Many properties are not in a homeowners association, which means the colors are often up to you; if yours is in one, check its rules first. We tell you which colors hold up on an open lot in full sun and which will fade. Tall entries, wide eaves and long fascia runs get the ladders and setup that height requires.
Wood board fences, barns, run-in sheds and pipe gates take a beating from sun, rain and animals. We clean, scrape and then stain or paint wood fences and barns with coatings made for exterior wood, and we prep and prime metal gates and rails so rust does not push through the finish. Around horses and other animals, we plan the work with you so they can be moved, keep wet surfaces fenced off until dry, and pick up every scrap and empty can at the end of each day.
Many homes in Southwest Ranches use private wells, and iron in well water leaves orange stains wherever irrigation reaches. Those stains bleed through ordinary paint. We clean them with a rust stain remover, seal the area with a stain-blocking primer and suggest turning sprinkler heads away from fresh walls. Shade trees and the canals along many lots keep lower walls damp, so we treat mildew before painting. Inside, larger rooms with tall ceilings, beams and built-ins get the same careful prep.

Southwest Ranches projects we're proud of
Professional process, quality results
We paint throughout Southwest Ranches, including Sunshine Ranches, Rolling Oaks, Country Estates, Green Meadows and Southwest Meadows. Griffin Road, Sheridan Street, Stirling Road and Dykes Road tie the town together, and many homes sit at the end of long private drives behind gates. Tell us about gate codes, dogs and horses before the first day, and we will plan truck access around soft ground after heavy rain.
FAQ
Yes. Barns, run-in sheds, wood board fencing and gates are part of what we do here. Weathered wood is cleaned first so the stain or paint can soak in and bond, then we apply a coating made for exterior wood. Metal gates and pipe rails are wire-brushed and primed where rust shows. We plan around your animals' routine.
Iron in well water stains stucco, fences and driveways wherever sprinklers reach. We remove as much as possible with a rust stain cleaner, then seal the area with a stain-blocking primer before the topcoat, because regular paint lets the stain bleed back through. Adjusting sprinkler heads, or adding an iron filter, keeps the new paint from being stained again.
Yes. On big lots it often makes sense to split the work, for example the house first and then fences, barns or a guest house. Each phase is listed separately on the estimate so you can choose the order. We stage materials where they do not block your driveway, gates or animal areas, and we leave the site clean each day.
Many properties in the town are not part of an HOA, but some are, and those communities may have color rules. Check with your HOA, and with the town if you are unsure. If the choice is yours, we can brush large samples on the wall and advise which colors hold up longest in strong sun on an open lot.
We do. Decks, pergolas and wood porches are cleaned and sanded where needed, then stained with a product suited to the sun and rain they get. Gray, weathered wood is brightened first so the stain takes evenly. Horizontal surfaces wear faster than walls, and we will explain how often a deck in full sun usually needs a fresh coat.
