Weston's premier painters
Tamarac began as a retirement community in the 1960s, and its golf-course villas and 55-plus condos still shape much of the city. Newer townhomes and family neighborhoods have filled in since. PaintPro serves Tamarac from Fort Lauderdale, about 9.4 miles away, with free estimates and a written 2-year warranty on every job.
In 55-plus communities, the association almost always controls exterior color, and many manage the painting of whole buildings. Work there runs at a pace residents can live with. We post notices before each building, keep walkways and handrails clear, stow ladders at the end of every day and respect quiet hours. Residents who use walkers or wheelchairs need a clear path to their door, so we stage materials away from entrances and keep drop cloths flat and taped.
Many homes and villas back onto golf courses or retention lakes. Sprinkler overspray from fairways and lawns hits rear walls daily, leaving mineral stains and feeding mildew. Screen enclosures, metal doors and older aluminum trim tend to oxidize. Stucco from the 1970s often has a web of hairline cracks. We clean and treat stains, fill cracks with an elastomeric patch, prime chalky surfaces and topcoat with a paint made for long sun exposure.
Indoor work is common when a condo or villa changes hands. New owners want neutral walls, brighter rooms and updated kitchens without a full renovation. We repaint walls, ceilings, doors and trim, and we can refinish cabinets so the kitchen looks new. In occupied homes we work room by room and keep pathways clear. Professional process, quality results
Kings Point and the Mainlands sections are among the city's larger 55-plus communities, each with its own rules for contractors. The Woodlands and Colony West grew up around golf courses, and homes there see heavy sprinkler and lake exposure on the back walls. We check in with the gate and management office before the first day.
Commercial Boulevard, McNab Road, University Drive, Pine Island Road and Nob Hill Road carry most traffic. We plan arrival times to avoid the rush hours on those roads and the school pickup lines in the family neighborhoods. Plazas and offices along Commercial Boulevard can be painted early or on weekends.
FAQ
Yes. We follow community rules for contractor access, work hours and parking, and we coordinate with the management office on resident notices. Crews keep walkways clear and tidy each day. For individual units, we can schedule around your appointments and move furniture for you so you do not have to lift anything.
Yes. Get the approved color scheme and any approval form from your association first. We match the approved colors exactly and stop clean at any shared walls. If the association repaints whole buildings on a cycle, we can also price that larger job for the board.
Usually sprinklers. Fairway and lawn irrigation often uses lake or well water carrying minerals and iron, and the daily spray leaves marks and feeds mildew. We clean the wall, treat stains with a stain-blocking primer and use a mildew-resistant topcoat. Asking the course or your association to adjust nearby heads helps.
Yes. A fresh, neutral interior helps buyers see the space. We repaint walls, ceilings, trim and doors, and we can refinish dated cabinets. We work within building rules on elevators and hours, and we leave the unit clean and ready for photos. Let us know your listing date so we can plan the order of work.
