Weston's premier painters
Wilton Manors calls itself the Island City because the Middle River and its forks wrap around it. At about 2.6 miles from our Fort Lauderdale base, it is one of the closest places PaintPro works. Most houses are postwar, lots sit close together, and many owners are restoring rather than replacing. Estimates are free and a written 2-year warranty comes with every job.
The typical Wilton Manors house is a one-story concrete block ranch from the 1940s, 1950s or 1960s. Many keep mid-century details worth saving: decorative breeze block, low-slope roofs with wide fascia, original front doors and terrazzo floors inside. Decades of repainting often leave oil-based layers under newer latex, and that is where peeling starts. We test adhesion, scrape back to sound paint, and use a bonding primer where old and new coatings meet.
Close lots bring their own problems. Side yards can be only a few feet wide, fences and neighbors' cars sit right at the property line, and mature shade trees keep north walls damp. Mildew and algae grow fast in that shade. We wash with a mildewcide before priming, brush and roll near property lines instead of spraying, and mask cars, plants and fences. We also talk with you about telling neighbors when work will happen next to their side.
Not every job here is a house. Restaurants, bars, salons and shops along Wilton Drive need fresh paint inside and out, and they cannot close for a week to get it. We can split commercial painting into sections, work early or on closed days, and keep entrances usable. Duplexes and small apartment buildings are common too, and we can paint one unit while tenants live in the other.

Our team brings decades of combined experience and a dedication to excellence on every project.

Professional process, quality results
Wilton Drive cuts through the middle of town and carries most of its restaurants and shops. On busy weekends and during street events, parking near the Drive fills up, so we plan deliveries and work trucks around those days. Homes on the river near Colohatchee Park take the same moisture and salt that coastal houses do, because the Middle River is tidal.
Between Andrews Avenue and Dixie Highway, streets are mostly single-family homes mixed with duplexes and small rental buildings. Richardson Historic Park sits along the river on the east side of town. Wherever the lot backs onto water, we treat the rear wall and any dock or seawall cap as a coastal surface.
FAQ
Yes. We hand-scrape and prime breeze block, decorative trim and original doors rather than covering them over. If you want period colors, we can help you choose a palette that suits a 1950s ranch. Where old wood is rotten, we show you before replacing it so you decide what stays and what gets swapped.
We keep the work inside your property line and avoid spraying where wind could carry paint onto a neighbor's car or house. Narrow side yards get brushed and rolled. We cover fences and plants, set ladders carefully, and clean up each day. A heads-up to the neighbors before we start helps the week go smoothly.
Yes. Commercial interiors and exteriors are part of our work. For a business on the Drive we plan around opening hours, deliveries and event weekends. We can do the work in stages so the business stays open, and we use low-odor products indoors when customers or staff are nearby.
In Wilton Manors that is almost always mildew or algae. Shade from big trees, river humidity and sprinkler overspray keep that wall damp. Painting over it traps the growth. We wash it off with a mildewcide, rinse, let the wall dry and use a coating with mildew resistance. Trimming branches back from the wall helps the new paint stay clean.
Wilton Manors is about 2.6 miles from our Fort Lauderdale base, so getting out for a visit is easy. Estimates are free. We look at the house or business, talk through colors and scope, and send a written estimate. Our crews are licensed and insured, and the work comes with a written 2-year warranty.
