Weston's premier painters
Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is a small beach town where almost everything is a short walk from the sand. Low-rise condos, small hotels, shops and single-family homes share streets on both sides of A1A. PaintPro works here from Fort Lauderdale, about 5.4 miles away. Estimates are free, and our written 2-year warranty covers the work.
Ocean wind carries salt onto every surface in town, and the humidity keeps it damp. Salt left on a wall stops new paint from bonding, and it corrodes metal railings, light fixtures and door hardware. On older concrete balconies and walkways, rusting steel inside the concrete can crack and push off pieces of the surface. We wash every wall to remove salt, treat rust on metal before priming, and point out any spalled concrete so the association's repair contractor can fix it before paint goes over it.
Most buildings here are run by a condo association, so the board picks colors, approves the scope and sends notices to owners. We give the board a written estimate with the prep spelled out, then schedule balcony work by stack so owners know when to move furniture and open doors. Pool decks and parking lots stay in use wherever we can manage it. For a single-family home, the decision is yours, though we still suggest colors that hold up in full sun.
Many owners here are seasonal. Interiors can be painted while you are away, with keys left at the front desk or with a manager. A unit that sits closed through summer often has mildew in closets and bathrooms and dampness on outside walls. We clean that first and use mildew-resistant products in wet rooms. Our interior painting service also covers ceilings, doors and trim.

Our team brings decades of combined experience and a dedication to excellence on every project.

Professional process, quality results
Commercial Boulevard runs east to Anglin's Fishing Pier, and the blocks around it hold most of the town's shops and restaurants. Work there starts early, before beach traffic and outdoor dining fill the streets. Parking is tight near the pier, so we plan where trucks and lifts will stand before the job begins.
El Mar Drive runs close to the beach and is lined with low-rise condos and small hotels that face direct ocean wind. West of A1A, residential streets reach toward the Intracoastal, and canal homes there take salt from two directions. Those houses get the same wash, rust treatment and coastal coatings as oceanfront buildings.
FAQ
Yes. Many owners here are not in town all year. We walk the unit with you or your manager, agree on colors and scope, and arrange key access through the front desk or management. We send photos as the work progresses and leave the unit clean, with furniture back in place.
Prep does most of the work. We wash off salt, scrape loose paint, seal cracks, treat rust on metal and prime bare areas before any topcoat. Then we use exterior coatings made for coastal exposure. Rinsing salt off walls and railings with fresh water now and then also helps the finish last.
Yes. We prepare a written estimate the board can vote on, list the prep and coatings, and work through the manager on notices, balcony access and parking. We can paint large swatches on the building so owners see the color in real light before the board picks one.
Usually, yes. We split the job into sections, start early before customers arrive, and keep entrances and walkways open. Indoors, we use low-odor products and close off the area we are working in. We will plan the schedule around your busiest days and any events near the pier.
Salt air rusts metal fast here. We sand or wire-brush rust spots, apply a rust-inhibiting primer, then topcoat with an exterior enamel. Sliding door frames and railings are cleaned and masked carefully so tracks and glass stay clean. Badly corroded sections should be repaired or replaced before painting, and we will tell you if we see that.
